| EPS® 2141 |
EPS 2141 is a styrenated acrylic emulsion offering excellent alkali and water resistance, with flexibility, for use on cementitious, wood, and metal substrates. When properly formulated, EPS 2141 can be used in duct sealant formulations to obtain perm ratings of less than 0.02, when tested in accordance with ASTM E-96. It can also be used in the areas of heated lamination with good adhesion over various substrates. Not FDA approved. |

DPnB at 20% on resin solids is the recommended coalescing solvent. 2.5 to 5.0 % plasticizer such as Santicizer 160 (or similar) on resin solids may be used to help with film formation and to keep the film flexible. Ammonia should be used to raise the pH of the coating. |
